New Fork Density Meter Delivers High-Precision Propylene Glycol Measurement
Leave a message
A new fork density meter designed for continuous industrial density measurement has been introduced, offering high-precision monitoring of propylene glycol with an accuracy of 0.002 g/cm³.
The new instrument is designed to provide stable density measurement across a range of 0 to 2 g/cm³, making it suitable for process monitoring and control applications involving propylene glycol. Its 316 stainless steel wetted parts provide a durable solution for long-term contact with process media.
The density meter features a DN50 PN16 flange connection in accordance with HG/T 20592-2009, with a 150 mm insertion length for convenient installation in industrial pipelines or vessels. The electrical interface uses M20×1.5, while the instrument operates from a 24 V DC power supply.
For process integration, the meter supports dual 4–20 mA outputs with a four-wire configuration, as well as RS485 communication. These interfaces enable density data to be transmitted to industrial control systems and monitoring equipment for real-time process management.
Safety and environmental protection are also key features of the new instrument. With an Ex db IIC T6 Gb explosion-proof rating, the density meter is designed for use in hazardous areas where explosion protection is required. Its IP66 protection rating further enhances reliability in industrial operating conditions.
The instrument is specified for process pressures from 0 to 4MPa and operating temperatures of 250°C . By combining precise measurement, robust construction, explosion-proof protection, and flexible communication capabilities, the new fork density meter offers an integrated solution for continuous propylene glycol density monitoring.
The launch represents another step toward more accurate and reliable process measurement for industrial applications, helping operators obtain real-time density information for process control and quality management.
