In contemporary industrial production, accurate liquid level monitoring is the core link to ensure the efficiency and safety of the process. Recently, a leading paper manufacturer in Colombia selected four of our company's advanced lidar-level sensors to further improve its production efficiency and accuracy to ensure consistency and excellence in product quality.

LiDAR technology initially shined in the fields of aerospace and autonomous vehicles. In recent years, it has rapidly emerged in industrial automation due to its unparalleled high-precision and non-contact measurement characteristics. The lidar liquid level meter introduced by this paper mill in Colombia is an innovative application of this cutting-edge technology in liquid level control.
These devices demonstrate unprecedented accuracy by emitting a laser pulse and measuring its return time to precisely determine the level of materials such as pulp. Compared with traditional methods, lidar level gauges stand out for their fast response, strong anti-interference ability, and low maintenance costs. They can continue to operate stably in various harsh environments, significantly improving measurement accuracy while significantly reducing downtime caused by equipment failure.

It is understood that these four lidar level gauges will be installed in key production links of the paper mill to continuously monitor the liquid level dynamics in the pulp storage tanks. Through a seamless link with the factory's existing automation system, operators can monitor liquid-level information in real time, thereby optimizing production plans and reducing resource consumption. It is particularly worth mentioning that, thanks to its non-contact measurement principle, this equipment performs well in avoiding media contamination, which is crucial for maintaining high-quality pulp.

This cooperation not only injects new vitality into the technological innovation of Colombia's paper industry but is also another example of deepening scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation between China and Colombia.
